Good demonstration of conventions here. However, floral background is not appropriate for a music magazine blog. Spelling of 'evaluation' is wrong. Learn to embed slideshares rather than just have links. A good start though.
I like the images that you took, the medium close-up is good. I also like the colour scheme and the issue number is placed in the right position. It would be better if you lined up the images and include a 'S' in success and I don't like the border around the text and the images.
I really like the use of different colours that contrast well with each other as it makes the magazine inviting to the audience. Also the images are appropriate on the page however the layout of the pictures could have been more spread out. There is good use of fonts and layout of the text though that makes it stand out.
